Privacy Policy

This policy covers the website sghiremathlaw.com and the Hiremath mobile app (Android and iOS), operated by S.G. Hiremath — Advocate & Real Estate, Hiremath & Co, 4662, Bhadkal Galli, Khade Bazar, Raviwar Peth, Belagavi, Karnataka 590001, India ("we", "us").

Account details: your name, email address and/or phone number, and a password (stored only as a one-way hash). If you sign in with Google on the website, we receive your name and email address from Google.

Bookings and enquiries: the consultation type, notes, preferred times and contact details you enter, and messages you send through the contact form.

Documents: files you choose to upload ahead of a consultation. These are stored securely with our file-storage provider and are visible only to you and the office.

Payments: consultation fees are paid through Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details — we only keep the payment ID, order ID, amount and status.

AI assistant: messages you type into the assistant are sent to our AI provider to generate a reply. We do not store these conversations.

On your device only: saved properties, recently viewed properties and your fingerprint / Face ID preference are stored on your phone and never sent to us. Biometric data never leaves your device.

We do not use advertising, we do not sell your data, and we do not collect your location.

To create and secure your account, schedule and manage consultations, respond to enquiries, process payments, share case documents with the advocate, and send you service messages such as password-reset emails. We do not use your information for marketing without your consent.

Only with service providers that run the platform for us, under their own security and privacy terms: Razorpay (payments), Cloudinary (document and photo storage), MongoDB Atlas (database), Render and Vercel (hosting), Groq (AI assistant replies), Google (sign-in, if you choose it) and Gmail (password-reset emails). We may disclose information where required by law or a court order.

All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed, access to client documents is restricted to you and the office, and admin functions require an administrator login.

We keep your account until you delete it. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as required under Indian tax, accounting and legal-practice obligations, even after an account is deleted, but they are no longer linked to your account.

You can delete your account at any time — in the app under Account → Delete Account, or on the website at sghiremathlaw.com/delete-account. This permanently removes your login and uploaded documents.

You may also ask us to access, correct or erase your personal data, or raise a concern, by emailing sg@sghiremathlaw.com. We handle requests in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

If we change this policy we will update the date below. Significant changes will be highlighted on the website or in the app.
